Kingscliff Public school first opened its doors in 1957
The founding Principal was Hubert "Bert" Payne.

Cudgen Primary School
Cudgen Primary school was started on the 16th January, 1882 and on the first day there was an attendence of 4 boys and 5 girls.
Cudgen was opened by John McPhee.

Banora Point Primary school was started in May 1893.
Mrs Margaret McAdoo was the first to conduct school classes in the district. |
Fingal Prmary School
The present school was originally opened as Fingal Point Provisional School in 1913 and was renamed Fingal Head Public School in 1962.
